Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I park?
You can park anywhere around the building in the parking lot & enter through doors 1,12, or 13.
What happens when I arrive?
You'll be greeted at the door and given a Sunday bulletin. Please fill out the visitor's tab inside and drop it in the offering plate. We won't announce your visit or single you out in any way; it's merely a way of getting to know our guests.
What about the kids?
We have classes available for children during the Sunday school hour as well as childcare for children up to pre-k age during worship services. We

What about babies?
We love babies! If you have small children, we welcome you to bring them. We have a great nursery facility for infants and toddlers. Our loving volunteers are eager to serve both you and your baby. If you would like to keep your baby in the service, you are welcome to do that. There is a private area in the nursery for nursing mothers as well.
What are your services like?
Our services are designed to maximize the possibility of your hearing a message from the Bible in a way that you can walk away and immediately apply it in your life. Our music worship team leads us in singing that is meant to prepare our hearts to hear God's Word, worship in song, and respond to God's Word working in us. Our primary concern is that God is honored in the way we worship Him through careful handling of the Bible text, music, and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
How should I dress?
Feel free to come as you are. Most dress in a casual or business-casual attire, so you will see a range of styles when you come. Some may wear jeans and others may wear a dress shirt and slacks.
Can visitors take communion?
We offer communion to all believers in Christ.
Are visitors expected to give money?
Offering time is for members to show their support of First Baptist Church with their tithes. As a visitor, you're welcome to participate in offering time if you wish, but you are not expected to give anything until you feel led by the Lord to contribute.
What version of the Bible do you use?
We recognize there are several very reliable versions available and have chosen from those to use the English Standard Version--or ESV--as the main version we use. If you would like to know more about the ESV version of the Bible, feel free to click here for a little more about the ESV or here to learn more about Crossway Publishing, the main publishers of the ESV Bible.
