After you have filled out the information and submitted it to us,
you will then have to check your email. 
Look for a message from Matt Carter
and the email address newsletter@fbcvalpo.org. 
In it, you will get a message.   Inside of this message will be a link that you must click on. 
This is called a "double opt in" mailing list. 
It serves many purposes, but ensures that real humans are signing up for this list
and that we are not labeled as spammers by email providers.
