Rev. Denver H. Ayres, Senior Pastor

Denver graduated from Whitko High School in South Whitley, Indiana in 1995.  He then spent the next four years overseas in the United States Air Force stationed in the Azores, Portugal and Mildenhall, England.  He spent time in temporary duty assignment in Aviano, Italy; Ramstein, Germany; and Prince Salton Air Base, Saudi Arabia.

As a member of New Testament Baptist Church in Kenny Hill, England, Denver went on a mission’s trip to Brasov, Romania.  It was during this conference in the Carpathian Mountains, that he surrendered to the call of full time ministry.  Upon Denver’s completion of service to his country, he headed for Jacksonville, Florida and Trinity Baptist Bible College.

In May of 2004, Pastor Ayres graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Church Ministries.  Denver began college single, married his second year, and each year following added one child!  He is currently enrolled and close to his Masters Degree in Church Ministries through Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Denver has served as an Associate Pastor and Youth Pastor in Indiana, North Carolina, and West Virginia.  In May of 2007, Denver was officially ordained as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ at First Baptist Church in Fairlea, West Virginia.  He praises God for the opportunity to have been a part of such wonderful ministries and for the preparations that took place in his own life to prepare him for his current calling and ministry.  Denver has a wonderful wife (Ginny) and three beautiful little girls, Chloe, Callie and Carlie!

Denver and Ginny believe in the blessings of long term ministry and in the power of Church family! Denver does lots of studying in God's word and has been learning to share his studies online with his own blog.
