The Sommervilles have been supported by First Baptist Church for many years, having served under another mission before starting S.E.E.

Society For Europe's Evangelization (S.E.E.)

The present center of S.E.E.’s work is in Paris, but the latest church formed is a second one in Paris which now has the name of Bible Baptist Church of Paris.  S.E.E. has started churches in a number of the big cities in France, such as  Paris, Toulouse, Nice, Lille, Momoges, Montauban, Perpignan, Aix-end-Provence, as well as in Somain, Muret, Mont-de-Marsan and Tarbes. The church in Montauban has its own FM radio station broadcasting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All known methods of evangelization are used by our teams – open air meetings, Bible stands in markets, evangelistic meetings in the churches and public halls, tract distribution, family camps, and Bible conventions, etc.

Art is now International Director of S.E.E., so he will plan to divide his  time between the States and France, spending the greater part in France.  Art has received an honorary doctorate from Tabernacle Baptist Bible College in Greenville, South Carolina. This is in recognition of his 60 years of service for the Lord in France.
