Missions Program at First Baptist Church of Valparaiso Indiana

First Baptist Church is responsible to our missionaries in several ways.

First, we pray for our missionaries.

Second, we support our missionaries financially. First Baptist Church is committed to giving 21% of our income to our missionaries.

Third, we communicate with our missionaries. We strive to understand the various ministries of our missionaries, and we try to encourage them in their work for the Lord.

The Missionary Committee promotes the Church’s interest in missions and evangelism through written information, prayer, bulletin boards, giving, mission projects and trips, special missionary speakers, and local outreach and evangelistic opportunities, as well as national and worldwide endeavors.

First Baptist Church is about obeying God’s mandate in Matthew 28:19-20, which states, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
