Here is one of the easiest ways for you to get involved at First Baptist Church!

Campbells Lables For Education program.  You've probably heard about it before.  All you do is collect the labels from the Campbells soup you use at home.  Lots of different products qualify for the program, check the Labels For Education website here for a list of labels to save.  Then just bring them into the Church.  There is a box in the main hallway under the bulletin board.  Just put em in there and you are done!

As a Church we collect these to help our missionaries Jim and Kay Baker and Navajo Ministries.  Kay Baker recently received sent this letter about the impact of the program...

“The children are already starting their second semester of school. The next few months will be busy ones as the children step up their academics and participate in new learning experiences through their Navajo Educational Classes.

We are currently clipping and counting all the labels and Boxtops that have come in over the last couple of months. February 28 is the deadline for this school year to spend our Boxtops for Education. Since the beginning of our relationship with Boxtops for Education, we have received over $14,000. We will update you on our total earning for this school year in March.

Remember, we collect these items all year long, so keep sending, even after this year’s deadlines.

We are so grateful for your participation.”

At First Baptist Church, Mrs. Dorothy Burrus faithfully heads up this ministry by collecting the lables, trimming them if needed, and sends them to Navajo Ministries.
