We believe our role is to create environments that are conduvice to the work of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of people. While our style may change with time, God's truth is constant and timeless. We ask ourselves "Are you a student of human nature, able to articulate what the people around you sing, dream, and cry about?". We base this on the following scriptures: Colossians 4:5-6, I Corinthians 9:19-23, and I Chronicles 12:32
We believe in the power of love, acceptance, and forgiveness. Relationships of mutual, voluntary submission between believers forge accountability, foster care, and fulfill our sense of belonging. We ask ourselves "Who has your complete trust, and can speak truths that you may not want to hear?". We base this on the following scriptures: John 13:34-35, Acts 2:42-47, Hebrews 10:24-25, and Colossians 3:17
We believe that God has spoken to us through the scriptures. The Bible is without flaw and is our final authority. We ask oursevles "Is there any teaching of scripture that you are knowingly violating?". We base this on the following scriptures: II Timothy 3:16 and II Peter 1:20-21
We believe that Each believer is responsible for using their gifts to further the cause of Christ, strategically within the body of the church. We ask ourselves "Can you identify your spiritual gifts and show how God's unique calling is expressed in your ministry?". We base this on the following scriptures: Philippians 2:4-11, Ephesians 4:11-13, and Psalm 133:1
We celebrate God's gift of the family, and we are dedicated to ministry of prevention rather than intervention to prepare our children for the future. We ask ourselves "Are you purposefully investing in your children to draw them into a personal relationship with Christ?". We base this on the following scriptures: Mark 10:13-16 and Proverbs 22:6 |
